Outdoor-School /Science Camp is committed to teaching students about the wonders of natural things and events, in the context of a "hands-on" outdoor classroom. With a Biblical perspective and an emphasis on creation, campers learn about science in fun, innovative ways. The campers will develop a thoughtful appreciation and knowledge of the world that God created for our benefit. They will learn more about God’s handiwork and gain a proper understanding of the amazing interdependence of life in our universe. Science Camp is non-denominational and is for Christians who believe in creation, love science and enjoy the outdoors.
A typical day at camp includes 2 morning outdoor nature study or science classes, 2 afternoon recreation periods, evening creation lecture, campfire time, and lots of supervised fun. And Cecil T. (the) Seaserpent will tell riveting tales of his great, great, great uncle Doofus (everyone’s favorite part of camp, even the 16 year olds). If the roads are open we will make a day hike to Spirit Lake on the northeast side of Mt.St. Helens to see the famous floating log mat.
Make memories with your kids. PARENTS are strongly encouraged (but are not required) to attend as cabin counselors or teachers in areas of expertise. Especially Dads.
Because we may not have the entire camp facility to ourselves, there is a limited number of guaranteed spots. If these are filled up early, we may be able to negotiate for more space.
Hold your place with a *refundable $50.00 deposit. Remaining balance to be paid by August 10th 2012. (*After August 10th the $50.00 deposit is non-refundable.)
